Maria has won her fifth Grand Slam title at the French Open in
Paris as she defeated No.4 seed Simona Halep of Romania. Maria won
6-4 6-7 6-4 in just over three hours. Congratulations Maria!
This is the first time that Maria has won the same Grand Slam twice and is the first Russian player to have ever accomplished this feat.
